To exaggerate the sweeping movement of the leaves around the 3.10ct sapphire I set the stone at a slight diagonal. Funny, that when placed on a ring finger, the natural tilt of the hand eases the stone to sit perfectly straight. This Montana sapphire is particularly beautiful, as it is not the traditional blue of most sapphire; it has sparkles of teal that are heightened by the bright yellow of the 18k gold.
